The IRS Has Adjusted Aviation Excise Tax Rates for 2009

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has published 2009 inflation adjustments to excise taxes on commercial air transportation. The new tax rates are applicable until March 31, 2009, to coincide with the pending Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization.
